We’re back! Join us for the eighth annual CiderFest NC fundraiser, featuring ample tastings of hard cider, mead and apple wine, along with artisanal food, live music, workshops, a kids zone, and more along the scenic French Broad River.
WHEN: Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 1 to 4 p.m.
WHERE: Olivette Riverside Community & Farm, 1069 Olivette Road, just 6.7 miles from downtown Asheville, NC
WHAT: Your ticket includes entry into the festival where you’ll receive a souvenir CiderFest NC 2oz glass that you are able to fill up with samples from over 20 local cideries. In addition to tasting cider and mead, guests can enjoy free bites of artisanal food including local cheeses, baked goods, caramels, ice cream, and more. Food and merchandise will be available for purchase from a mix of local food trucks and art vendors.
V.I.T. Tickets: Again this year, a limited number of VIT (Very Important Taster) tickets offer advance entry to the event a full hour early beginning at noon to enjoy exclusive access to tastings from our cider and mead makers and artisanal food vendors before the crowds arrive. You may even have the opportunity to sample some specialty, small-batch or limited-release ciders and meads that won’t be available during the regular event.
Transportation and Parking: Enjoy your cider and travel safely! We strongly encourage ride sharing and car pooling with designated drivers.
AVL Ride is offering 10 percent off rides for all CiderFestNC attendees on Saturday, Oct. 8. To get your discount simply download their app, book your ride, enter code CIDERFEST22, and get dropped off at the festival entrance!
Parking will be available at two locations near the venue with shuttles to the site. Watch for signage along the road as you approach Olivette. Parking will be available on site at Olivette for VIT ticketholders only with a short walk to the event. Please note that all vehicles must be removed from the site promptly after the event, and any left overnight will be towed.
Tickets are now available! The event has sold out in recent years so attendees are encouraged to plan ahead and buy their tickets early.
